Helene Gorbena
Helene Gorbena BBG #1938, the heart and home to Las Vegas BBG’s! This chapter has provided so many girls with a space to be creative, learn the traditions of the international order, make new friends, and strengthen the roots to their Judaism. Since 1924, BBG through its sorority-like structure has incorporated values that young Jewish women cherish and embed through each and every BBYO program and generation.
By joining Helene Gorbena BBG, the Las Vegas girls BBYO chapter, you gain friendship, love for the international order, and newfound knowledge of what being a part of it really means. Being a part of this organization and this chapter helps young Jewish women include community service, creativity, Jewish heritage, sisterhood, recreation and social action at a local, regional and international scale and their everyday lives.
By becoming an active member and part of the sisterhood of Helene Gorbena BBG, young girls are inspired to develop their leadership skills and make life long memories.
Jack Entratter
Las Vegas’s AZA (Aleph Zadik Aleph) chapter—Jack Entratter AZA #1882—is in its all-time prime. With active chapter membership more than doubling in 2024, Las Vegas BBYO has gained a new reputation across the entire Mountain Region (Arizona, Nevada, and Utah). In this high school fraternity, we embrace concepts such as brotherhood, Judaism, patriotism, and more.
Joining this organization means making lifelong friends whom you can call your brothers, whether at the chapter, regional, or international level, and creating an adolescent experience unique to the many who have joined the Grand Order of the Aleph Zadik Aleph since its establishment in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1924. Whether in a program with fewer than ten people or at BBYO’s International Convention with members from around the world, we participate in activities that incorporate the Six Folds: Athletics, Community Service/Social Action, Education, Judaics, and Social. These folds represent the core values we aim to integrate into each activity we participate in, no matter how big or small.
By joining Jack Entratter AZA, young teenage men learn to always strive toward the principles of gentlemanly conduct as they prepare for life after high school (and eighth grade) and make their teenage years truly unforgettable.
