On Tuesday JewEL LEADS had our 4th monthly session.  We had a great presentation and discussion with Michael Novick from the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC).  Hearing about how the JDC helps both stabilize Jewish communities across the world to become more autonomous and simultaneous provides assistance to those Jews most in need around the world was inspiring.  Growing up in a large Jewish community I regularly heard how impactful the JDC was but I never knew too much about the organization until this past week.  Thank you Mr. Novick for bringing the important work you do to our attention and leaving an impact on our group of young Jewish professionals.
