Temple Sinai proudly presents a unique and exciting music concert: ¨Gospel with a Jewish Soul¨ at 7:00 pm on Sept. 6, 2014 in our brand new sanctuary. The event features our very own Cantor Mariana Gindlin along with The Voices of Worship and Praise choir. Our Temple Sinai choir is also participating. Come enjoy a moving and captivating musical experience produced and directed by Cantor Gindlin which combines her breathtaking artistry and the soulful and powerful energy of the Gospel Choir. Save the date ---September 6th at 7pm. Cantor Gindlin, born and raised in Buenos Aires,, Argentina, felt a passion for Judaic music early in her life and has devoted her career to teaching, composing, performing and leading liturgical and popular Jewish music. Cantor Gindlin’s enchanting voice, love of Judaism and music, and her engaging, charismatic personality have thrilled and captivated her congregants. The Voices of Worship and Praise was formed in 2008 as the vision of its founder Mr. Lonnie Clark. Under the direction of Mr. Clark and his business partner and choir director Minister Ty Smith, the choir has blossomed into a dynamic gospel ensemble. The group performs regularly at the House of Blues Gospel Brunch. The ensemble was awarded the Black Music Award for Best Group of the Year 2011 by the Black Music Association Academy of America. Tickets for this amazing, one-of-a-kind event are $18 ($22 at the door) for Temple Sinai members and $20 ($25 at the door) for non-members. Tickets for children under 13 are $9.
