This lay-led class studies our Jewish heritage, from the beginnings of Judaism, through the death of King Solomon, the Assyrian and Babylonian exiles, the destruction of the Second Temple, and the reconstruction of the Jewish state in modern times. The class is open to the community, and anyone may enter the class at any time. Synagogue membership is not required, nor is knowledge of Hebrew. There is no charge, and all study material is provided. The atmosphere is particularly suited to lively discussions conducive to adult learning.
