"Scenes of the Lower East Side" is a series of over 50 drawings that are derived from many photos over 80-100 years old and encompass architecture, faces, groups of people, and lettering. Garth Potts will show how an artist develops a series of drawings from a concept to selecting base images to the mechanics of creating images that match the theme.
