The NF Hope® Concert returns to Las Vegas for the seventh straight year to raise awareness and much needed financial support for the fight against the neurological disorder, Neurofibromatosis (NF).

This year's concert will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the The Palazzo Theatre at The Palazzo Las Vegas and will include an all-star lineup includes the Las Vegas debut of Finding Faith featuring Andrew Tierney of Human Nature; award-winning Vegas headliner Clint Holmes and wife Kelly Clinton; The Space founder and “Magic Mike Live” star Mark Shunock with wife Cheryl Daro; stars of “World’s Greatest Rock Show” at the Stratosphere; These Guys Worldwide; comedy-magician Murray Sawchuck; The Tenors of Rock, Jeff and Melody Leibow with a special guest appearance by daughter Emma; as well as some surprise guests. A full list of confirmed guests will be announced closer to the event.

The NF Hope® Concert was founded in 2011 by Jeff and Melody Leibow (both members of Congregation Ner Tamid in Henderson), soon after their daughter, Emma, was diagnosed with the neurological disorder, Neurofibromatosis (NF) at the age of nine months old.

Simply, NF is a genetic disorder of the nervous system characterized by tumors that can grow on any nerve in the body at any time. There is no cure for NF, and there are currently no treatments either. Symptoms range from benign (birthmark-like “cafe au last spots”, learning disorders, attention disorders) to moderate (blindness, deafness, chronic pain) to severe (disfigurement, cancer and death). 1 in 2,500 people are born with NF. In 1 in 3,000 cases, it is the result of a random genetic mutation (this is how Emma was born with it). It is the most common genetic disorder affecting more than 128,000 in the US alone making it more prevalent than Hereditary Muscular Dystrophy, Cystic Fibrosis, Huntington’s Disease and Tay Sachs combined.

The NF Hope® Concert is what Jeff and Melody do for Emma and everyone living with NF, when in truth there is very little we can do.

Emma has more than two dozen tumors including three brain tumors and a complex of tumors so large, they literally stretch from her left hip to her left knee. She has a team of doctors ranging from neurologists and orthopedist to radiologist and oncologists. At just seven years old, she has had more MRIs than most people will will have in two lifetimes. Fortunately, she is blessed with a spirit that transcends her challenges. It is this spirit that inspires the Leibows to do everything they can for her and the tens of thousands living with NF in this country.
