Hillel Ofek, one of the leaders of the Active Adults 55+ group of Temple Beth Sholom, will be addressing Israel’s significant contributions and solutions to key world societal challenges. Advances in science, health, technology and land renewal will be discussed.

Hillel will also present an overview on how Israel helps other peoples and countries like many of the African countries, international emergencies, natural disasters and their victims. Plus, he will describe how Israel extends its hand to those who need medical help like the wounded Syrian refugees.

Material discussed will include videos and factual information that is usually ignored or minimized by the U.S. mainstream media. Open to the community. Refreshments will be served.
