While ministering to the homeless on the streets of Omaha, Nebraska, Father Edward Joseph Flanagan developed a lifelong interest in young people and their struggle to grow into responsible, productive members of society. Today, with your help, we continue Father Flanagan's mission of saving children and healing families. Since 1917, Boys Town’s mission has been to give at-risk children and families the love, support and education they need to succeed. Because we firmly believe that regardless of background and circumstances, every child and every family has the potential to thrive.

Vegas Roots Community Garden (formerly Tonopah Community Garden) is a community-based nonprofit organization in Las Vegas, Nevada. The garden utilizes over four acres of vacant property right near Downtown Las Vegas. We provide the Las Vegas Community with the opportunity to grow food, learn about gardening and wellness, and to be a catalyst for positive change in the health of those in low-income communities.

United Way of Southern Nevada unites our community to improve people’s lives. With the support of a committed group of strategic partners, we create bold and positive change for Southern Nevada’s most vulnerable populations through innovation, leadership and collaboration. Through our focus in Education, Health, and Income we provide the foundation for a better community for all.

Provide a safe shelter for abused and homeless women and children in crisis and to offer life-changing services promoting stability, dignity, and self-reliance. They believe that no one should ever have to endure a state of homelessness, existing in fear for personal safety and without the means to meet even the most basic of human needs – food and shelter. Every human being, regardless of social status, has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. Everybody can be a part of the solution.
