The Jewish Nevada Annual Campaign has raised $92 million dollars cumulatively since 1968, and Women's Philanthropy has been the backbone of our Campaign since Day 1. We stregnethen the lives of Jewish women and girls by investing in security, safety, and community.
Inspiring and empowering women to become leaders and decision-makers in our Jewish community and beyond.
Vibrancy and continuity of Jewish life at home and around the world starts here, with outreach and community events presented by Jewish Nevada WP and allocations supporting Jewish women everywhere.
The Pomegranate Society is a national designation that recognizes women who make a minimum gift of $1,800 or more to the Jewish Nevada Annual Campaign. Each year the women in the Pomegranate Society are recognized and honored at a dinner reception. Women giving at this level also wear a sterling silver pomegranate pin which signifies their commitment. More than just a beautiful piece of jewelry, the Pomegranate pin symbolizes a woman’s commitment to and compassion for the Jewish people.
The Lion of Judah is a special national program that recognizes those women who make a gift of $5,000 or more to the Campaign for Jewish Needs. Each year we host a special luncheon for Lions in our community to thank them for their generous support and provide a wonderful opportunity to share a meal with some of the community’s top philanthropists.
