Jewish Nevada is the central organization supporting more than 70,000 Jewish residents across the state. We strengthen Jewish life locally, in Israel, and around the world—through community programs, strategic funding, and rapid crisis response.
We care for people at every stage of life—feeding the hungry, supporting the sick and elderly, and investing in the next generation through education and youth programs, regardless of religion.
We provide scholarships, Israel experiences, family counseling, and community grants that help individuals and families thrive. At the same time, we fund and partner with local nonprofits that impact thousands of Nevadans each year.
When crisis strikes, Jewish Nevada mobilizes quickly. From the war in Ukraine to the October 7 attacks in Israel and the L.A. wildfires, we’ve delivered critical relief—providing shelter, food, clothing, and emergency support when it’s needed most.
We are committed to building understanding and standing up to hate. Through programs like Student to Student, Jewish teens share their stories with non-Jewish peers in local schools—fostering connection, education, and empathy.
Founded in 1966, Jewish Nevada is guided by the enduring values of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), Tzedakah (philanthropy), and G’milut Hasadim (acts of kindness).
