Ramat HaNegev Delegats Visit Las Vegas

The partnership between Ramat HaNegev Regional Council and Las Vegas Jewish Community is a very important and meaningful partnership. To continue this tradition a Young Adult Delegation from Ramat HaNegev will be visiting Las Vegas. The young adults of Ramat HaNegev believe the time has come to form a solid foundation for the future generation for this partnership.

On October 7th-13th the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas will have a delegation of 6 young adults between the ages of 25-30 from our Israel partnership community in Ramat HaNegev visiting Las Vegas.  During this time, they will meet and connect with members of our Young Leadership program (JewEL), learn about Jewish Las Vegas, Judaism in America, and the diaspora.  The goals of this visit are to enhance the connections between both communities; to strengthen our younger generations’ Jewish identity and connection with Israel; to build joint social/educational program between the partnership communities and to build personal relationships and acquaintances between both communities.

The delegation will include programs and activities such as panel discussions with local Jewish Agencies and Organizations as well as local Rabbis, social events with JewEL, hiking Mt Charleston, a tour of Downtown Las Vegas, a program with the Holocaust Resource Center, meeting with Hillel, elected officials, and so much more!

JewEL Members will be hosting and housing the delegates and are very excited for this incredible opportunity!
