Ride2Freedom Is Coming!

Ride 2 Freedom began its 3,300 mile trek across the United States in Santa Monica on May 31. Thirty youths, most with no bicycling experience, are riding across the nation to call attention to plight of the orphaned children of people
persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party for their spiritual beliefs. The cycling journey ends in Washington, D.C. where the riders will assist a diplomatic rescue mission which will ultimately end in Beijing, China.

On June 1, 2015, International Children's Day, a group of youths from 15 countries on five continents began a 3300-mile journey across the United States on bicycles to make a difference in the lives of children being persecuted in China.

These 30 riders will climb mountains and cross deserts to call attention to the 15-year persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese regime. Falun Gong is a peaceful spiritual practice persecuted in China because its practitioners see the principles of Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance as a higher good than the Communist Party. Children of practitioners who have been arrested are left without home or family, and are often sought by the state to be punished for their parents' beliefs.

Ride 2 Freedom is not just calling attention to the plight of these children, knowing that shining light on it is the best way to alleviate it. Ultimately, some riders will travel to China to bring home five children orphaned by the persecution of the Chinese Regime.
