National Young Leadership Cabinet

 

Cabinet Members are recognized for making a $5,000 or more gift to their community's Annual Campaign.

 

National Young Leadership Cabinet is the premier leadership and philanthropic program within The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) and throughout the Jewish world. Cabinet is comprised of approximately 300 men and women, ages 30-45, from across the United States and Canada who are deeply committed to shaping a bright future for the Jewish people in North America, Israel and around the globe.


How can you join Cabinet?


Dynamic and creative forces for change, Cabinet members are distinguished by their civic and financial contributions to Jewish communal life and their personal leadership qualities and potential. A Cabinet application requires the endorsement of your local Federation professional and the recommendation of a senior local lay leader.

United Society Members are recognized for making a gift of $365 or more to the Jewish Nevada Annual Campaign.

 

For less than the cost of a daily latte you can support Jewish causes here in Nevada and around the world and locally, that provides vital services such as feeding the hungry, providing medical care and prescriptions and helping at-risk youth create a better life.

 

Members of the United Society are recognized for their generous gift by:

Lion of Judah Society

 

The Lion of Judah is a special national program that recognizes those women who make a gift of $5,000 or more to the Campaign for Jewish Needs.  Each year we host a special luncheon for Lions in our community to thank them for their generous support and provide a wonderful opportunity to share a meal with some of the community’s top philanthropists.


Step Up to Lion- Two Year Commitment Program


The Step-Up program is a two-year commitment wherein a woman commits to making a gift of $3,600 for the first year and then $5,000 for the second year.  The woman will then be invited to attend all Lion of Judah campaign and recognition events during the year, including the Lion of Judah Luncheon. The program will educate women of all ages about the importance of Tzedakah, the vital role of Jewish Nevada and help ensure our Jewish community’s future by encouraging them to become a part of our Lion Pride!

Ben-Gurion Society

 

 

In 1948, David Ben-Gurion became the leader of a new generation of Jews. The Ben-Gurion Society (BGS) is founded on the principles of David Ben-Gurion, the first Prime Minister of the State of Israel.  BGS embodies Ben-Gurion's legacy, that young men and women use their vision and combine their power, passion and resources to build a strong and responsible Jewish community at home, in Israel, and around the world – through leadership development, networking opportunities and special events.  Ben-Gurion Society (BGS) members are recognized for making a gift of $1,000 or more to the Campaign for Jewish Needs.


Today, Jewish Nevada Ben-Gurion Society embodies his legacy -- young men and women combining their power, passion and resources to build a strong and responsible Jewish community, at home, in Israel, and around the world.
All donors, ages 22-45, who make a contribution of $1,000 or more to the Jewish Nevada Annual Campaign are members of the National Ben-Gurion Society.
