Hillel of Northern Nevada serves The University of Nevada Reno, Truckee Meadows Community College, Western Nevada College, Carrington College - Reno & More!

At Hillel, we are our students’ home away from home. Hillel's main priority is to be the home of Jewish Life on campus at UNR and other Nothern Nevada college campuses. We work to provide a safe place for our students to discover their connection to Judaism in their own way. Through our experiential programming, Hillel empowers Jewish students to find their place in the Jewish world and define themselves Jewishly within the larger community. Safety is also a top priority of Hillel. We are at the forefront of combatting antisemitism on campus.

Shabbat Dinners

We host Shabbat dinners weekly, check our Instagram for the location and time!

Weekly Social Events

Come hang out with other Jewish students on campus, make new friends and memories! Check our IG for the semester schedule or reach out to our Director or Student Leadership Team.

Holiday Events

Break the Fast on campus, Sukkot programs, Chanukah, Purim, Pesach. and other programming, we have something for everyone! Contact our Director, Matt, for more info.

Educational Programs

Throughout the year, we host numerous Jewish educational and professional development opportunities, including our Jewish Learning Fellowship a national program organized and designed by Hillel International; our semesterly active shooter training; and our antisemitism education programming.
